BREATHWORK for ADHD & BUSY MINDS with Steve
-
Come and discover a space where you can truly be yourself and connect with others in a meaningful way. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to explore new ways of relating and breathing.
You will be guided through conscious connected breathing tailored specifically for those with ADHD and busy minds. An opportunity to meet others who understand your challenges and learn valuable tools to help you thrive.
Transformative Effects of conscious connected breathwork on ADHD Symptoms include:
Improved Focus and Concentration: Regular breathwork increases oxygen to the brain and body, which can enhance energy levels and mental clarity.
Stress Reduction: By regulating the breath and nervous system, we activate the parasympathetic nervous system, shifting our body from the stress-induced fight-or-flight to relaxation, calming the mind and reducing anxiety.
Emotional Regulation: Breathwork aids in processing emotions managing mood swings and dysregulation, common in ADHD, which can result in a more stable emotional state.
Reduced Hyperactivity: By inducing a state of relaxation, breathwork can help mitigate feelings of restlessness and hyperactivity, promoting a sense of inner peace.
Embracing breathwork techniques can serve as a valuable complementary practice alongside other strategies, helping to manage symptoms effectively and improve overall well-being.
Testimonials:
“I’ve done Wim Hof breathing and Pranayama before but this felt way more powerful. I lost all track of time and my mind went from a tsunami of thousand thoughts, to a glacial lake of calm. It left my body feeling energised, my brain clear-thinking and an overall feeling of calm. ADHD laughs in the face of regular meditation. This is different. Try it; it really will help you close down some tabs.”
Lorelei Mathias, Author, Comedian & Creator of award-winning web series ‘Life in ADHD’
“I attended Breathe with ADHD’ on Saturday, and it left my ADHD brain, how do you say… quiet? It was such a weird but necessary sensation! Steve is the breath guy for people like me—none of the over-the-top woo-woo, just practical, calming techniques that actually work. Highly recommend it for anyone who needs to quiet the chaos, even if just for a little while and learn a natural coping mechanism for their busy adhd mind”

NOURISHING THE EARTH ELEMENT - a grounding Yin mini retreat - with Nadine
-
Come and join me for one of my signature mini-retreats. This session is centred on the element of earth, providing space and time to cultivate a deep sense of groundedness as the seasons begin to shift.
The practice will be focussed around the spleen and stomach chi (late summer meridians) and also the lung chi to help keep the respiratory system nourished. All this work will support the energy in the body to help carry you through the season and give you some tools to support yourself with any changes in your life, worries or anxiety.
As we strive to nourish the element of earth, this element reminds us that by bringing our energies into harmony, we can support ourselves and others. We can adapt to situations and feel more grounded, full and comfortable with who we are, wherever we are.
Who is this workshop suitable for?
All levels - the Yin asana can be quite intense so all props are provided to support. Nadine will also give some restorative options if the Yin work gets too intense.
What to expect.
The workshop will begin with centering and a 10 minute slow and easy gentle flow to warm the body and help focus the mind to the breath.
Then we get into the deep Yin poses where we can really crawl into ourselves and enjoy the quiet space surrounding us.
Meditation, Yoga Nidra and grounding pranayama will complete your mini retreat and you will be ready to float home. You may wish to take a quiet day at home to enjoy the full benefits of your practice and have some good, delicious, nourishing food.
The space is warm but everyone is different - you may wish to dress in layers and have some cosy socks.
During this time of being free from requirements or expectations, Nadine strives for you to leave with a sense of groundedness and ease - ready to support yourself and others.
With warmest wishes,
Nadine Watton (she/her)
